The Yellow Paint Chip - Tales from Someone Who Paid Attention
In 1973 I saw the Federico Fellini film Amarcord and it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen up till then. It had so many wonderful characters and they were all so immersed in life, love, and adventure that it made me long for such experiences in my own life. Now these many years later I realized that I had experienced all those things myself and it only took a yellow paint chip to open that door to my past and all the memories came flooding back.
It wasn't until many years later that I found out that Amarcord means "I remember" and it seems so appropriate that the stories in this book began in 1973. I surprise myself sometimes of what I can remember especially if I have a memory trigger that lights it up. As I write these stories I get to relive each and every adventure along with every emotion both good and bad.
Yes this book is all about nostalgia but I kept it unvarnished just telling the stories about all the people I met in New York City during the time comedy exploded in clubs like the Improv and Catch a Rising Star. It was an amazing adventure and a wonderful time to be alive

Warped Tales - Memoirs of a Space Cadet
My name is Kevin Aaron Aanerson and I am a spaceship engineer. Most people think of space travel as the widely publicized and in my opinion often over hyped missions that feature the doings of the captain and command staff of a USE (United Star Expedition) spaceship. You know the stories because we've all read about those truly exciting exploits. Now don't get me wrong because I have always been thrilled to read those stories and in some instances I’ve actually been involved as a crew member during some of those incidents.
Actually it was stories like those that had a lot to do with where I am today. It's just that there are a lot of other stories that most people never hear about. A spaceship cannot operate with just the few people on the bridge. There are a lot more people on board a spaceship who operate all the “fiddly bits” as one captain put it and I consider them to be the heart and soul of a ship. But because we are basically a quasi military operation the USE controls all the press and what the public eventually sees and hears.
I thought I would try and set the record straight and write about some of the experiences I’ve had with all the people, spaceships, planets, and of course aliens I’ve encountered during my career.
